- "A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, PolyU and MIMOS (www.mimos.my), Malaysia's national research laboratory, on research collaborations in the areas of Advanced Informatics, Wireless Communications, Intellectual Capital Auditing and Reporting, Social Computing, Knowledge and Collaborative Technologies, Artificial Intellgence and Expert Systems, Opto-electronics, and Microelectronics. The two parties are expected to further sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) later in 2008."
